Walking along Tooley St, many passers-by were perplexed by the music makers milling around among Pink Panther lamps, school science-lab tables and plush sofas. Little did they know that beneath street level, Romania's Daniel Stanciu was chasing a melody line deeper than groundwater, with fellow participants including Peru's Maldita Fan and Mexico's Teri Gender Bender.
